Community Alliance for Health and Development (CAFHED) Launches New Website to Advance Community-Driven Health and Development Across Kenya
Nairobi, Kenya — The Community Alliance for Health and Development (CAFHED) is proud to announce the official launch of its new website, marking a significant milestone in its mission to advance integrated health and development solutions across Kenya.
As a community-rooted and data-driven organization, CAFHED is committed to strengthening maternal and child health (MCH), early childhood development (ECD), adolescent wellbeing, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and community health systems. The new website provides a comprehensive platform to showcase the organization’s innovative model, strategic priorities, partnerships, and measurable impact.
A Unified Model for Sustainable Impact
At the heart of CAFHED’s work is EMPOWER360, the organization’s flagship integrated delivery model. EMPOWER360 brings together maternal and child health, early childhood development, adolescent girls’ empowerment, sexual and reproductive health and rights, sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) prevention and response, and health systems strengthening into one cohesive and scalable platform.
Rather than implementing isolated projects, CAFHED builds interconnected systems designed to create long-term, community-owned solutions.
Vision and Mission
CAFHED envisions becoming a regional leader in community-driven maternal, child health, and early childhood development systems, while advancing equitable sexual and reproductive health for adolescent girls and young women.
Its mission is to operationalize the EMPOWER360 approach to advance sexual and reproductive health rights for adolescent girls and young women, laying the foundation for resilient maternal, child health, and early childhood development systems.
