Alice Lenzar Nyimbaye is a senior pediatric clinical leader and health systems specialist with extensive experience in neonatal and child health, HIV programming, and national protocol development. She currently serves as Senior Clinical Consultant (Chief Clinical Officer) at Homabay County Teaching and Referral Hospital, where she provides specialist oversight in pediatric and newborn care.
As a Board Member of Community Alliance for Health and Development (CAFHED), Alice offers strategic technical guidance that strengthens the organization’s Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (MNCAH) programming. Her experience contributing to Kenya-aligned pediatric guidelines— including IMNCI and ETAT+—enables CAFHED to maintain high standards of clinical governance, quality assurance, and evidence-based programming.
Alice brings a strong systems-thinking approach to governance, ensuring community interventions align with Ministry of Health standards and global best practices. She also supports institutional partnerships between CAFHED and public health systems, enhancing sustainability and policy relevance.
Her leadership, integrity, and commitment to improving child health outcomes reinforce CAFHED’s mission to deliver high-impact, accountable, and transformative community health solutions.
